1903 Springfield Rebuild ----This is a Re-List from prior Auction (Buyers Regret)

This is a rebuilt 1903 Springfield with all period correct parts.

It is not a government rebuild. This should be a fine shooter with nearly all New Old Stock (NOS) with the exception of the receiver and the wood stock. This is a used stock, with no cartouches.

This is a fine looking rifle and with this new barrel, it should be a fine shooter. It is not a collectible in the sense that collectors will only buy this to shoot it!

Couple Notes: About the barrel band, in person you can't really see the brown spots the pictures show, extra oil or something. Yes some of the NOS parts are blued and others are parked, so in that sense it's also a bit of a mix-master!

Head Space on NOS R2 bolt is GOOD, Muzzle is .03 or .04 (i.e. its new), I built it over 10 years ago; I do know that other than testing, it has not been shot!
